Madita alternative: 100 AI interviews for $99, built on your scenarios
Madita is an AI recruiter that runs structured first-round interviews. Its pricing is public, which is rare: Starter is €390 a month for up to 25 interviews, and Growth is €590 a month for up to 50.
That works out to roughly €12 to €16 per interview. For a team filling one or two roles, fine. For a support or billing role with a few hundred applicants, 25 or 50 interviews a month runs out in the first week.
The short version
- Volume: Madita’s entry plans cover 25 or 50 interviews. Greet Pro covers 100 sessions for $99/month, and Enterprise 500 for $200.
- Content: Madita runs structured interviews. Greet runs your custom questions plus role-play scenarios where the AI plays the customer, patient or caller.
- After: Greet uses the same scenarios to train the people you hire.
What Madita is
Madita is a German AI interviewer for first-round screening. It runs structured interviews in over 90 languages and is positioned as GDPR and EU AI Act compliant. It mainly serves German and European recruiting teams.
It does that well. Pricing is published, language coverage is wide, and its compliance messaging is clear for EU buyers.
Where it falls short
From its pricing page:
- The cost per interview is relatively high. Roughly €12 to €16 per interview on the listed plans.
- Entry plan volumes are small for high-volume roles. 25 or 50 interviews a month.
- Generic structured interviews. Standard questions rather than custom role-play scenarios.
What Greet does instead
Enough sessions to screen everyone
Pro is $99/month for 100 sessions, so each completed session costs $0.99. Enterprise is $200/month for 500, or $0.40 each. A credit is used only when a candidate completes a session. At that price you can send the interview to every applicant instead of choosing who deserves one.
The AI plays a part from the job
Asking “how would you handle an upset customer?” gets you a rehearsed answer. Greet lets the AI be the upset customer. Write up to 10 questions or scenarios: a patient who disputes a charge, a payer rep who denied a claim, a caller who wants to cancel. The AI stays in character and follows up when the candidate dodges.
Scoring on your terms
You define the assessment blocks, such as knowledge, communication, English level or problem-solving. Each session returns a match rate, a written summary, the transcript and the recording (recording on Pro and above). If you disagree with a score, go to the moment in the recording and check.
Set up in a few minutes
Type one line, for example “Screen billing specialists, 10 minutes, friendly tone”, and AI drafts the instructions, questions and settings. Press Play to take it yourself. Then share a link, import a CSV for unique links, or add the embeddable voice application form to your careers page with one script tag. Greet can also call applicants by phone.
Training uses the same scenarios
Once someone is hired, the scenario that screened them becomes practice. New hires rehearse the hard calls with the AI, and you see progress in the same dashboard.

Which one to pick
Pick Madita if you need interviews in languages beyond the seven Greet supports, compliance positioning for the EU AI Act is a buying requirement for you, and your volumes are modest.
Pick Greet if you hire in volume, want every applicant screened instead of a few, and want the interview to include a real scenario from the job rather than a fixed set of questions.
Try it on one role
- Pick the role where you run out of interview slots first.
- Add one scenario where the AI plays the hardest caller that person meets.
- Press Play and try it.
- Send it to every applicant this week, not only the shortlist.
Create your Greet account and run it on that role.
