LANDED alternative: when you have too many applicants, not too few
LANDED is built around a familiar frontline problem: not enough applicants. It sources candidates, screens them and keeps the pipeline moving until the interview.
Plenty of teams have the opposite problem. One job post brings in hundreds of people, and the hard part is figuring out which ten can actually do the work. A sourcing-led tool helps less there, and LANDED shares little in public about how it assesses skills.
The short version
- The problem it solves: LANDED fills the top of the funnel. Greet sorts the applicants you already have.
- What it tests: Greet runs a spoken scenario from the job, with an AI that plays the resident, guest or customer and asks follow-ups.
- Price: LANDED is not published. Greet is $99/month for 100 sessions.
What LANDED is
LANDED, based in New York and backed by Y Combinator (W19), is an AI hiring platform for frontline employers. It sources candidates, screens every applicant and hands off qualified people ready for interview. Its customers include senior care, hospitality and service businesses.
It does that well. Pairing sourcing with screening helps when you lack applicants, it is built for frontline roles, and you get candidates ready for the next step.
Where it falls short
From its own site and public listings:
- No public pricing. You have to ask.
- Sourcing you may not need. If your posts already pull more applicants than you can handle, the sourcing half is less useful.
- Little detail on skills. There is limited public information on how skills are assessed during screening.
What Greet does instead
Every applicant gets the same real situation
You write up to 10 scenarios or questions and the AI plays a role. For a caregiver: a resident’s son who is upset that his mother missed lunch. For a hotel front desk: a guest who arrived to find the booking gone. The AI listens, follows up and stays in the scene, so you hear how each person handles it.
You see how they were scored
Pick the assessment blocks that matter: communication, problem-solving, knowledge, English level. Each session returns a match rate, a written summary, the transcript and the recording (Pro and above). Sort by score, read the top summaries, and play back any answer you want to check.
Built for people on their phones
Candidates start from a phone browser whenever they want, with no slot to book. Greet can also call them. Push to Talk helps in noisy places, they can type instead of speaking, and the camera is optional unless you turn on Camera Required.
Works with the applicants you already get
Share one link in your job post, import a CSV and send unique links, or add a voice application form to your careers page with one script tag. Connect your ATS through the API if you want results there.
The price is on the page
Pro is $99/month for 100 completed sessions. Enterprise is $200/month for 500. Describe the role in one line, let AI draft the session, take it yourself with Play, and send it.

Which one to pick
Pick LANDED if your frontline openings sit unfilled because too few people apply, and you want a partner to bring candidates in.
Pick Greet if you have the applicants and not the hours, and you want to hear each one handle a real situation from the job before you book an interview.
Try it on one role
- Pick the opening with the biggest applicant pile.
- Write the moment on the job that separates good hires from bad ones.
- Take the session yourself with Play.
- Send the link to everyone who applied this week.
