Jobma alternative: a live conversation instead of a recorded answer

11/3/2026 • 5 min read

Jobma is a one-way video interview platform. Candidates see a question, hit record and talk to their webcam. Nobody asks them what they meant. Then someone on your team, or an AI model, watches the recording.

Its pricing page lists four plans by user count (Starter, Growth, Professional and Enterprise), but no dollar amounts. To learn what it costs, you talk to sales first.

The short version

  • Format: Jobma candidates record answers to a set list of questions. Greet candidates talk with an AI that listens and asks follow-ups.
  • Price: Jobma plans are quote-based. Greet is $99/month for 100 sessions, listed on the site.
  • What you review: With Jobma, a stack of videos. With Greet, a score, a summary, a transcript and the recording for each candidate.

What Jobma is

Jobma, based in the US and India, combines AI video interviews, pre-hire skill assessments and fraud prevention in one interviewing platform. Staffing agencies are a big part of its customer base, along with mid-market and enterprise employers.

It does a lot in one place. If you are a staffing firm that wants video, tests and fraud checks under one contract, with many ATS integrations, Jobma covers that.

Where it falls short

From its own site and public pages:

  • No prices on the page. Plans are listed, but you need a quote to see a number.
  • Video first. The core experience is a candidate recording themselves on camera, with no follow-up questions.
  • Lots of settings. The feature breadth means more to configure before your first role goes live.

What Greet does instead

Candidates answer a person-shaped AI, not a red dot

A recorded answer is a monologue. Greet is a conversation. The AI speaks, waits for the answer and digs in when it is vague: “Which system did you use for that?” or “What did you say to the customer next?” Candidates start from a browser or phone whenever they like. Greet can also call them.

The interview is the job

Instead of asking “How would you handle a claim denial?”, the AI plays the payer rep who denied it, and the candidate has to work it out live. For a support role it plays an upset customer. You write up to 10 questions or scenarios, and every candidate gets the same ones.

You read a result, not a playlist

Each session comes back with a match rate against the blocks you defined (knowledge, communication, English level, problem-solving), a written summary and a transcript. On Pro and above you also get the recording, so you can jump to the moment behind a low score instead of watching every video start to finish.

Fewer knobs, faster start

Type a line like “Screen support reps for evening shifts, 10 minutes, friendly tone” and AI fills in the instructions, questions and settings. Press Play to try it yourself. Then share one link or import a CSV and send each candidate a unique link. If fraud is the worry, turn on Camera Required or Block Copy & Paste. Otherwise the camera stays optional.

Prices you can check before you talk to anyone

Pro is $99 a month for 100 sessions. Enterprise is $200 a month for 500. A credit is only used when a session is completed.

Which one to pick

Pick Jobma if you are a staffing agency that wants video interviews, skill tests and fraud prevention from one vendor, and recorded answers suit your clients.

Pick Greet if you hire for roles where talking is the work (support, billing, front desk, sales) and you want to hear how candidates handle a real situation, not how they deliver a rehearsed answer to a camera.

Try it on one role

  1. Choose the role where you watch the most videos today.
  2. Write the hardest call or conversation that role handles.
  3. Take the interview yourself with Play.
  4. Send the link to your next ten applicants and compare the scores.

Create your Greet account and run it on one role.
