What Humanly is
Humanly, based in Seattle and backed by Y Combinator (W20), is a high-volume hiring platform with an AI recruiter, AI interviewer, interview notetaker, talent CRM and ATS. Its customers are hourly and frontline employers in retail, healthcare, hospitality and logistics.
It does a lot well. The focus on frontline volume is clear, it covers engagement through scheduling and interviews, and it publishes candidate-experience data on its site.
Where it falls short
From its own site and public listings:
- Pricing requires a demo. There is no number on the website.
- A suite you may not need. CRM, ATS and notetaker can be more than a small team will use, especially if you already run an ATS.
- Qualification over simulation. Screening leans toward eligibility questions rather than testing the work itself.
