Evalufy alternative: a spoken conversation instead of a recorded video
Evalufy is a well-known name for Gulf hiring teams. Its free plan covers a limited number of non-video assessments. The part most teams actually want, the AI Interview, is priced on request.
That AI Interview is asynchronous video. Candidates record their answers on their own time, and your team gets transcripts, scores and video to play back. If what you need to know is how someone handles a caller, a recorded answer only gets you part of the way.
The short version
- Price: Evalufy’s AI Interview pricing is not published. Greet is $99/month for 100 sessions, listed on the site.
- Format: Evalufy is an asynchronous video interview. Greet is a live voice conversation where the AI listens, follows up and plays a role from the job.
- Language: Evalufy is Arabic-first. Greet runs in English and six other languages, not Arabic.
What Evalufy is
Evalufy, based in Dubai, is a candidate assessment and AI interview platform for the Gulf. It offers native Arabic and English, asynchronous structured interviews, transcripts, scoring and video playback. Most of its customers are UAE and Saudi employers.
It does that well. The interface is natively Arabic with right-to-left support, there is a free entry plan for assessments, and the support team is in the region.
Where it falls short
From its own pricing and product pages:
- The AI Interview has no public price. You need to ask before you can plan a budget.
- The format is asynchronous video. Candidates record answers rather than talk with someone, which needs a camera, decent light and a quiet room.
- It is built mainly for one region. That is a strength if you hire in the Gulf, less so if your roles are remote and global.
What Greet does instead
The candidate talks with someone
Greet is a two-way voice interview in the browser, on desktop or phone. The AI speaks, listens and asks a follow-up when an answer is vague. Candidates start whenever they want, with no slot to book. Greet can also call applicants on their phone. The camera is optional unless you turn on Camera Required.
The interview is the job
You write up to 10 questions or scenarios, and the AI can play a part in them. For a customer support role, it plays a customer whose order arrived broken. For a front desk role, it plays a caller who wants a same-day appointment that does not exist. Everyone gets the same situation, so you compare like with like.
You set what counts
Scoring runs on assessment blocks you define: product knowledge, communication, English level, problem-solving. Each session returns a match rate, a written summary, the transcript and the recording (recording on Pro and above). When a score surprises you, play back that moment and decide for yourself.
You see the price before you talk to anyone
Pro is $99 a month for 100 sessions. Enterprise is $200 a month for 500. A credit is only used when a session is completed. Describe the role in a sentence, let AI fill in the questions and settings, press Play to take it yourself, then share the link.
