EASYRECRUE alternative: standalone AI interviews, no iCIMS contract
EASYRECRUE used to be the French video interview tool you could buy on its own. iCIMS acquired it in 2020, and today easyrecrue.com redirects to iCIMS. Video interviewing is now one part of an enterprise talent platform, with pricing that is not published.
If you already run iCIMS, that is convenient. If you only wanted a better first round, you are now looking at a suite, a sales cycle and a contract before you screen a single applicant.
The short version
- Buying: EASYRECRUE comes inside iCIMS enterprise contracts. Greet is a standalone tool at $99/month for 100 sessions, listed on the site.
- Format: EASYRECRUE candidates record answers to a camera. Greet candidates talk with an AI that listens and asks follow-ups.
- Review: One-way video still needs someone to watch it. Greet returns a score, summary, transcript and recording for every session.
What EASYRECRUE is
EASYRECRUE was a Paris-based video interviewing and assessment company. Since the iCIMS acquisition, it is sold as video interviewing inside the iCIMS platform, mostly to large enterprises that use or are buying the iCIMS suite.
It does that well. It is backed by a large ATS vendor, video interviews sit directly inside the iCIMS workflow, and it has a long history in the French market.
Where it falls short
From its own site and the iCIMS pages:
- It is no longer a standalone product. To use it, you buy into the iCIMS ecosystem.
- Enterprise pricing and procurement. Pricing is not published. Expect a sales process.
- One-way video still needs manual review. Someone on your team watches the recordings, or at least the shortlist.
What Greet does instead
You buy one step, not a platform
Greet adds an AI screening interview on top of whatever you use today. Keep your ATS. Plans are public: Pro is $99/month for 100 sessions, Enterprise is $200/month for 500. A session credit is used only when a candidate completes a session. If you want results in your ATS, Greet connects through its API to Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, BambooHR, Workable, Teamtailor, Bullhorn and more. That part is optional.
The candidate gets a conversation
Instead of reading a question and recording into a webcam, the candidate talks with an AI interviewer. It listens, and when an answer is vague it asks a follow-up. Candidates join from a browser on desktop or phone, at any hour. Greet can also call applicants by phone. A camera is optional, unless you turn on Camera Required.
The interview looks like the job
You write up to 10 custom questions or scenarios. The AI can play a role: a customer chasing a late order, a patient confused by a bill, an angry caller. The candidate has to handle it, the same way they would on day one. Every candidate gets the same scenario, so the comparison is fair.
Nobody has to watch every video
Each session comes back scored against the assessment blocks you define, such as knowledge, communication, English level or problem-solving. You get a match rate, a written summary, the transcript and the recording (recording on Pro and above). Read the summaries, sort by score, and open the recording only when you want to check a result.

Which one to pick
Pick EASYRECRUE if you already run iCIMS and want video interviews inside the same platform and contract.
Pick Greet if you want a better first round without changing your ATS, you would rather see a price than book a demo, and you want candidates to have a real conversation instead of recording answers to a screen.
Try it on one role
- Describe the role in a sentence and let AI draft the questions and scoring.
- Add one scenario from the job, with the AI playing the other side.
- Press Play and take the interview yourself.
- Share the link, or import a CSV of applicants, and read the scores.
Create your Greet account and run it on your next opening.
